Forge Ahead University Scholarship

Criteria Includes:

• Applicant must be a full-time (12 credit hour minimum) student pursuing bachelor’s degree at a university supported by the state of Illinois.
• Applicant must have been awarded the Forge Ahead Scholarship while attending MCC.
• Applicant must be a graduate of McHenry County College.
• Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 from MCC.
• Applicant must provide evidence of financial need through the FAFSA application process.
• Applicant must write a two page essay outlining his/her education and career goals and how the financial support of this scholarship will help them.
• Applicant must provide to a letter of recommendation by an instructor or employer
