Anne M. Stumpf, RN Nursing Scholarship of Excellence

In honor of Anne M. Stumpf
Criteria:

• Applicant must be pursuing a Nursing degree and be a second year student within the McHenry County Nursing School.
• Applicant must hold at least a 3.0+ cumulative GPA and provide proof of GPA.
• Applicant must be a full-time student carrying a minimum of 7 hours.
• Applicant must have plans to transfer to a four (4) year institution to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Applicant must provide a letter of recommendation from a nursing instructor.
  *Applicant must be a US citizen and reside in McHenry County.
• Applicant must provide a written essay (300 words minimum)describing their future goals for becoming a professional registered nurse and their commitment and compassion for patients. The selection committee will assess each application according to the quality, thoughtfulness, and relevance of the essay.
• This scholarship may be awarded in conjunction with other scholarships and/or other types of federal, state, or institutional aid.
