Amanda Fair Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Amanda Fair Memorial Scholarship was established May 26, 2004 by DuWayne Fair. Amanda’s life was cut short at age 19 due to a tragic car accident. Her family chose to create a positive out of a negative and is honoring her memory with this scholarship to help students achieve their goals at McHenry County College. She was a student at MCC, where she was on the President’s List for academics and also on the volleyball team. Her family has also been involved in funding other important projects in the community in her honor.

Criteria includes:

• MCC sports program involvement
• 2.5 GPA
• McHenry County resident
• Pursuing a degree or certificate
• Letter of recommendation from coach or sports instructor.
