Applicant must be pursuing a Nursing degree and be a second year student within the McHenry County Nursing School.
Applicant must hold at least a 3.0+ cumulative GPA and provide proof of GPA.
Applicant must be a full-time student carrying a minimum of 7 hours.
Applicant must have plans to transfer to a four (4) year institution to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Applicant must provide a letter of recommendation from a nursing instructor.
Applicant must provide a written essay (300 words minimum)describing their future goals for becoming a professional registered nurse and their commitment and compassion for patients. The selection committee will assess each application according to the quality, thoughtfulness, and relevance of the essay.
This scholarship may be awarded in conjunction with other scholarships and/or other types of federal, state, or institutional aid.
Award may be applied to: Tuition only
