Ronald P. Repp Creative Writing Memorial Scholarship
The Ronald P. Repp Creative Writing Memorial Scholarship is a competitive funding opportunity for students with creative writing aspirations. It was established to honor the legacy of Ronald “Ron” P. Repp (1958-2023) – an alumnus of McHenry County College with a lifelong passion for creative writing. Throughout his life, Ron authored countless poems and stories, as well as two published books: The Adventures of Rattlesnake Roger (previously known as The Snake Charmer) and Wooden Warriors. This scholarship aims to celebrate Ron’s memory by supporting the efforts of creatively minded students.
Criteria:
• Applicant studying English or Creative Writing.
• Preference to student demonstrating an interest in Creative Writing.
